I love the simplicity of this card! The older I get, the more convinced I am that simplicity is one of the keys to living happy. When I was looking through my Color Coach for a color combo for this card layout, I went to the the In Colors first because I wanted to use the newer, thicker Baker’s Twine. I was surprised to see Crisp Canteloupe paired up with Pink Pirouette; but there it is; an unlikely pairing with amazing results! I loved it immediately! I really like the heavier weight Baker’s Twine and am excited that there will be more of it in the new catalog! For this layout I used what I call the, “Window Relief Technique,” the top layer with a framelit creates a raised window and the image is stamped inside giving the impression of low relief.
