I was totally captivated by this convention swap card stamped by Liz (last name unreadable). I loved the color combo and the layout but for the life of me I could not identify the stamp set immediately! When I finally identified it, I groaned audibly. I had not felt compelled to get this hostess stamp set, Happy Flowers, until that moment! Don’t you just hate that when it happens to you! It is now on my wish list. I guess when I saw the name of the set…it limited my creativity on some level to look beyond flowers and see what else was there! Take for instance the image stamped in Smokey Slate; I am now looking at that image and seeing a gorgeous bird! Inked with a marker one could eliminate the tail feathers completely and just have the wings. Each element of this stamp set is conducive to creating some really fabulous backgrounds! Even the flower stem if colored with a marker would make a great bird in flight!
