Sweet Scoops Celebration

Isn’t this just a brilliant idea! I got this idea from a swap at the regional in April. I used the Island Oasis Designer Series Background Paper and Scallop Edge Punch to create the awning for the ice cream shop look. The color combo is taken from the background paper; So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, and Old Olive. This cone reminds me of the YUMMY pineapple ice cream cone I had in Oahu at the Dole Plantation. Yum! We made this card at my Sweet Scoops class this month.

Sweet Scoops Birthday

I am so sad to see Bordering Blue retire! It was one of my favorite colors to put with Not Quite Navy! It gives a nice clean masculine feel to this card made with the Sweet Scoops stamp set from the new summer mini catalog. I chose the scalloped Bitty Button to go with the scallops…but if it seems too feminine to you, the  plain round Bitty Button will work well too. We made this card in my Sweet Scoops class this month. The other colors used are So Saffron, More Mustard, and Soft Suede.

Vintage Vogue Bird

I get together with a group of friends once a month to stamp (except for a few months during the summer) and a month or so ago…this is one of the cards we made! We used the Vintage Vogue stamp set and the Extra Large Two-Step Bird Punch. It’s nice making cards that somebody else designs once in awhile! LOL!

Awash With Flowers Window Pane

What a cute idea for this Awash With Flowers stamp set! I especially like how fellow demo, Shari Olson, cut out the flower in the middle and layered it on top giving it extra dimension! This was another card from my SUDSOL swap!

June Color Combo

Here is the color combo for June in anticipation of our new core colors! This is very soft and pretty! If you don’t have the Pink Piroutte you could substitute Pretty in Pink although it is a little brighter. Have fun playing with this color combo!

Awash With Flowers Coming Back Soon!

This pretty card was created by fellow demo, Sue Begger, using the Awash With Flowers stamp set. It will be available again when the new catalog comes out in July! It’s another one of those awesome cards that I received in the SUDSOL swap. The color combo is Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black, and Shimmery White.

Saturday Sketch

Is it hard for you to stamp when it is nice out? It is for me! I like to be out in my yard or on my bike! However, this card sketch can help you put together some quick cards if you have some special occasions coming up and you don’t want to spend a lot of time designing! This sketch was created in My Digital Studio. Have a great weekend!

Elements of Style

This is such a pretty stamp set! Tara McCormack created this beautiful card for the SUDSOL swap using the new stamp set, Elements of Style. I love this color combo of Ruby Red, Close to Cocoa, Old Olive, and Chocolate Chip!

A Little Birthday Cheer

What a great birthday card for a teenage boy! The creator, Jill Coleman used the stamp set, A Little Birthday Cheer for the sentiment on this card featuring the new Travel Journal Designer Series Paper which is layered over Night of Navy card stock that has been textured using the new Square Lattice Impressions Folder from the summer mini catalog. I received this card in the SUDSOL swap.
