Vintage Vogue Kindness

Fifth and final installment from my Vintage Vogue card making class! I also made this card for a swap! What I liked about this card was the color combo; Crushed Curry and Rich Razzleberry, and the lacey trim created with the Scallop Trim Border punch! I also used the Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder. Very easy and the color combo and the lacey look make it a very pretty card!

Vintage Vogue Friends

Another card from my Vintage Vogue card making class! I really ended up liking this color combo after the card came together. It is; Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Soft Suede, and Whisper White. I used another of my favorite dies…the Oval Scallop Frame. This card is a snap to stamp! I used a Texturz Plate on the Soft Suede background. I stamped the “F” in Pretty in Pink, then surrounded it with the floral spray in So Saffron. I sponged a little So Saffron around it…dropped it in in a So Saffron frame…added the flower and button…and wahlah!!!

Vintage Vogue Life Happens

This was another card we made in my Vintage Vogue card making class. Please ignore those blue spots, they are not on the actual card…I must have gotten them on the picture somehow when I edited it! I love how this card turned out! The color combo is Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, Old Olive, and Whisper White. I didn’t use a lot of accessories on this card but it really didn’t need them! The base is textured with a Texturz Plate from SU! Backgrounds #1. I used the Top Note Die (I love this die!) and then I used the new Small Heart punch to add a couple of hearts to go with the sentiment of the card. A very quick and easy card!

Vintage Vogue Hi

Isn’t it fun to see all the different looks that you can get using some of the same supplies? I even used a similiar layout to yesterday’s card! This is another card that we made in my Vintage Vogue card making class. This time I placed the flowers in a square and framed them in a square punched with the Scallop Trim Border punch. My background is textured with a Texturz Background Plate (Kit #4) in the Big Shot. I used the Polka Dot Grosgrain Ribbon this time because we don’t have the Melon Mambo in the new 5/8″ satin ribbon. I added a little *hi* by using the SU! Hi Embosslit in my Big Shot. I modified it a little by punching out just the *hi* with a circle punch. I also sponged it with a little Melon Mambo ink to help it pop out.

Vintage Vogue Garden

This is a card we did in my Vintage Vogue card making class. I just love this bight color combo! So muchso…that I used it on two cards in class! The colors are Melon Mambo, Bermuda Bay, Old Olive, and Whisper White.

I thought the design of this card almost looks like the flowers are in a flower…all it needs is a stem! To get this look I cut out a circle and scallop circle using my big shot dies. I ran the scallop circle through my paper crimper.

I also used the Very Vintage jumbo stampin’ around wheel. It coordinates with this set and made a nice unobtrusive tone on tone background on the Bermuda Bay layer. Plus, I used some more of that wonderful new 5/8″ satin ribbon! And, last but not least, I used that new Scallop Trim Border punch that I got for FREE! Don’t forget to call me or email me with your $50 Sale-bration order so that you can get your FREE punch!

Vintage Vogue Pretty in Pink

Hi! Did you miss me? I missed you! My registrar for Inkheaven closed its doors without notifying me! Yikes! Getting things changed is such a process! Especially if, like me, you know only just enough to be dangerous! lol! I can’t believe it took a whole week to get things changed over! Now…on to the the gorgeous card I just posted for you to drool over!

I made this card for a swap so I will have a few samples of sets that I don’t own for my Open House in February. I used Vintage Vogue and Well-Scripted Stamp Sets. My color combo is Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, and Whisper White. I also played with some of our new accessories! The Scallop Trim Border punch (which you can get for FREE during Sale-a-bration! How cool is that?!), our new 5/8″ satin ribbon, and our new Perfect Polka Dots texture folder!

It all combined beautifully, don’t you think?!
