Turns out my hair isn’t the only color that…well, only my hairdresser knows for sure. Seems you can dye your glitter.
Isn’t that just amazing? If you’ve every wished for glitter in all the Stampin’ Up!’s colors, this technique is for you. Here’s how it works:
- Add one drop of Classic Ink (from re-inkers) into an empty Stampin’ Store container, or just abandoned jar lid.
- Mix a few drops of water.
- Add about half a teaspoon of Dazzling Diamonds Stampin’ Glitter and mix.
- Continue adding glitter until all the dye is absorbed. You’ll notice the glitter will take on a fluffy texture as it absorbs the dye.
- Continue to mix in glitter until the fluff begins to sparkle. The dyed glitter will retain its fluffy texture, but the color will reflect off the added glitter. So, all you will see is colored sparkles.
The only thing more fun then adding bling to a page is making your own bling!
