Year End Close Outs Are Here!

Wowza! I thought I would be sharing a retired list, but this is even better! If you missed out on some of the good deals during Online Extravaganza, you can still get some good ones!

My favorite deal is the Layering Circle Framelits Dies. Oh my! What a fabulous price for such a crafting staple! This is definitely and item that will only be available while supplies last at this price! (Can you say 50% Off?) What an awesome deal for a tool that will give you perfect circles of all different sizes! Add these to your cart and you will soon be creating beautiful circle layers for your cards, scrapbook pages, bulletin boards (school, church, workplace), school projects, or whatever you need to create!

Thank you so much for stopping by. I do so hope that you find some good deals to add to your crafting fun!

Merry Everything, Happy Always

This fabulous card was created by fellow demonstrator, Becky Tuttle. I love the rustic, traditional, simplicity of this card! The fonts and modern freshness of this sentiment along with the Mini Jingle Bells make it fun.

I am also in love with the Suite Seasons stamp set and really love that it is currently at 25% off. This stamp set has plenty of good company in the 25% off department! Be sure to check them all out as this is the last day that you can get these stamp sets at such fantastic prices!

Below are some quick links to my favorite items used on this card. Thank you so much for stopping by!

Thanks For Lifting Me Up!

This is the 4th installment of my On Stage Display Stamper Samples.

This was a fun card to create; and that is saying something because I rarely do embossing anymore! I probably won’t be mass producing this one, but die embossing will be a fun little technique to pull out of my pocket every once in awhile! I love the texture that this technique gives to the hot air balloon.

I will be doing an online class for this technique sometime next year!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I truly do give thanks for the blessing of each one of you! For each one who visits my blog, my facebook page, my 24/7 online store, and my classes! Without you, I would not be here. It’s an exciting day for me when visits to my blog or Facebook page spike up! It’s even more exciting when someone new attends one of my events. My events are where I get to interact with you and actually be around a few people (I don’t get out much)! And, of course, I do appreciated each and every order that comes my way, too.

This beautiful swap card that I am sharing with you today was created by fellow demonstrator, Diane Simpers.

For your convenience, here is a list of most of the items she used in the creation of this card. Clicking on any of the images will take you to my 24/7 online store where you can shop to your hearts content (please do!) Thank you so much for stopping by!

It’s Time To Deck The Halls!

Well, tomorrow is Thanksgiving; already! Last Thanksgiving seems so far away, and yet, it also seems like it was just yesterday!

Once our bellies are full and the kitchen is cleaned up and we can anticipate days of yummy leftovers; I start taking down my Fall decor and break out the Christmas stash, music. and movies because it’s tie to deck the halls!

When I first laid eyes on this set in the Holiday Catalog, it went immediately on my list. Which, for someone who does not enjoy coloring much, is strange: right? However, the mice are adorable and I have found that most of the time – little touches of color work just fine.

This is my very first take of this card. I worked on my touches of color a little more later when I made a few for a swap and I liked my 2nd take better. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a photo and I don’t have any extras laying around. I just bought another package of this wonderful designer series paper so I can create some more (and other fantastic projects that I have created with this fabulous paper!)

Here is another adorable card, with this Merry Mice stamp set, created by fellow demonstrator, Kendra Richardson. Isn’t it adorable? She used watercolor and did a fantastic job!

On a side note; I took a class on photography using your mobile phone. I think I may be getting better!

This fabulous Merry Mice set is 25% off right now. It’s a steal, really! My card uses another steal off the clearance rack. I wish I had gotten both of these items at these fabulous prices!

There are other fabulous stamp sets at 25% off as well.

Below are some quick links to my favorite items that I used on my card. I recommend adding them to your cart at these bargain prices! They would make great gifts for any card maker or paper crafter in you life. Plus, it never hurts to treat yourself! Thank you so much for stopping by.

Love is in the Air International Project Highlights

Welcome to our International Visual Blog Hop using current Stampin’ Up! Products. We have all created this *gallery of projects (*please note that if you are on your phone – you might not be able to view the gallery. I apologize! Hopefully, I will be able to install some code to rectify that in the future!)  for you to be inspired by! We would love it if you could visit every one of our blogs and see a close up of our projects. Our theme this month is LOVE because as card makers we love spreading the love! You can see the gallery below and this will be on every blog that you click on so you will never be lost!

I am so excited to be able to participate in this International Project. I was invited last month but I was struggling to keep up with everything as I was preparing all my samples as a Display Stamper for On Stage 2016 in Kansas City right up until it was time to travel! Which, of course, meant that I had a lot of catching up to do when I got back home! When I saw the theme I knew I had to share my 3rd installment of my Display Stamper projects. It’s a perfect fit for our love theme!

I created this fun card using the Lift Me Up Bundle that will be arriving in the new 2017 Occasions Catalog. To create my card I created the background by repeatedly stamping the floating love hearts around my pre-placed sentiment. To add all the detail to my hot air balloon I die cut the balloon and then embossed it with the Happy Heart Folder. I then placed hearts punched from the Confetti Hearts Border Punch (which is at 30% off right now during Online Extravaganza!) in each heart. I gave each heart a little sparkle with the Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. I then placed my love-filled hot air balloon in the sky of floating love hearts with dimensionals. Other supplies that I used are are pictured below the card gallery and clicking on any one of them will take you to my 24/7 online store where you can shop for what you love until your heart is content!

Just a Note to Lift Your Spirits

Lift Me Up 2017 Occasions Catalog, Stampin’ Up!

Second installment in my series of sneak peaks from the 2017 Occasions Catalog as a Kansas City Display Stamper! I have to confess that this die from the Lift Me Up bundle is my favorite. I had to literally force myself to try to use other things in the bundle! One would think that with all the intricate detail that it would be a difficult die to use and clean out. It is not! This card is easier than it looks and I think it will be a card in my Lift Me Up class! I love the bright colors.

Thank you so much for stopping by, I hope you are enjoying the sneak peeks!

Simple Stamping With Star of Light

There is much to love about this swap card created by fellow demonstrator, Barbara Phillips.

  • Simplicity
  • Few supplies needed
  • Easily mass produced
  • Has a little shine
I’m all in favor of fancy Christmas Cards…until I am on card 25 or 30 and I am thinking, “What was I thinking?” Anyone else with me?
I like to WOW as much as the next person…but being practical has it moments. Christmas is one of them. Once again I am lamenting my photography skills! This card is so much brighter and prettier in person…and you can see the little bit of sheen added by the wink of stella.

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day

In the excitement of the upcoming new 2017 Occasions Catalog, I certainly don’t want to forget Christmas. Many, myself included, are not ready and are in great need of inspiration!

This pretty card is a swap card that I received from fellow demonstrator, Carolyn Jackson.

I was reminded of this old poem:

Christmas Bells
Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, 1807 – 1882

I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And thought how, as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had rolled along
The unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
Till ringing, singing on its way,
The world revolved from night to day,
A voice, a chime, A chant sublime
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

Then from each black, accursed mouth
The cannon thundered in the South,
And with the sound
The carols drowned
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
It was as if an earthquake rent
The hearth-stones of a continent,
And made forlorn
The households born
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!
And in despair I bowed my head;
“There is no peace on earth,”
I said; “For hate is strong,
And mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!”
Then pealed the bells more loud and deep:
“God is not dead, nor doth He sleep;
The Wrong shall fail,
The Right prevail,
With peace on earth, good-will to men.”
I love how this poem ends with a message of hope. The message that the Herald Angels brought to us; a message that I need to hear every day, not just at Christmas!
