Vintage Vogue Favorite Color Combo

Another beautiful card sample of Vintage Vogue from the displays at the Milwaukee Regional! What makes this card for me – the color combo! This is one of my favorite color combinations! I’m guessing it is Real Red, So Saffron, Old Olive and Bashful Blue. I have used different variations of this color combo…using Rose Red, Mellow Moss, and Barely Banana….much softer versions of color…but still a great combo! Sadly, Mellow Moss and Barely Banana are going away…so be sure to stock up on these favorite colors before May 31st so you can enjoy them for a little longer!

Vintage Vogue Small Flower

Another very simple card with Vintage Vogue! This card was also on display at the Milwaukee Regional. I just love seeing other people’s ideas. I love this layout…I will be using it with other stamp sets as well!

Lovely Vintage Vogue

Another gorgeously simple card! This card was on display at the Milwaukee Regional…and of course I had to  take a picture so I can duplicate the card! Vintage Vogue stamp set is a favorite of mine! You only have 3 more days to purchase this set…this set is available in the Occasions Mini Catalog until April 30th!

Well Scripted Flower

Is this just not the cutest idea? I received this card in a swap and I love it! This card was created by fellow demo Bobbie Lawrence. She used the Well Scripted stamp set, the Top Note die, Flower Folds die, and the Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder. Her color combo is Kraft, Rich Razzleberry, Pretty in Pink, and Whisper White.

Awash With Flowers Surprise!

It’s the last Sunday in April and I thought I would post a little surprise! I don’t usually post cards on Sundays but this one is so pretty and it is from the Awash With Flowers Stamp Set (which is a sneak peek from the new 2010-2011 Idea Book and Catalog!) This is one of the cards we made in class yesterday! You can purchase this set before the new catalog comes out but you will need to place your order before April 30th! Another feature of the sneak peek is 20% off select 2-step floral stamps! Click on the brochure at the top of my blog to see all these great deals! For this card I used the Razzleberry Lemonade Designer Series Paper with the Scallop Oval Frame Die. The color combo is from the designer series paper and is Rich Razzleberry, Melon Mambo, and Crushed Curry. We will be retaining Rich Razzleberry and Melon Mambo as part of our core colors going forward…but Crushed Curry will be going away! Be sure to stock up on this great color before May 31st! After that date I can’t guarantee availability of any of the colors that will be discontinued.

Vintage Vogue Friends

This card is so simply beautiful, I can’t stand it! This was another card made with Vintage Vogue on display at the Milwaukee Regional. One can never have too many friends…and with simple, gorgeous cards like this…you can make and send them all this card in record time!!!

Earth Day Blog Carnival

I don’t know about you…but my mom was a great recycle, reuse, etc. person before it was ever vogue! However, my mom did it out of necessity and thrift! She saved and reused foil if it wasn’t totally ruined, washed out bread bags, etc. and reused them, and saved egg cartons and jars so they could be reused. At the time…through my young eyes it really seemed like a waste of time when you could just go get new! I don’t know if I will ever be quite as skillful at it as she is; but I do try to do my part! While my mom’s recycling and reusing didn’t look like much fun…there are ways to do it and still have fun at the same time! Check out all the great ideas that are posted on the Earth Day Blog Carnival…and yes…one of my projects is in the carnival…see if you can find it! To get to the carnival…click on the title to this post.

Have a great Earth Day and have fun while you recycle!

Vintage Vogue Simplicity

I just absolutely love the simplicity of this card! This card was created with the stamp set Vintage Vogue. This was on display at the regional training in Milwaukee so I don’t know whose creation it is…but I love their style!

Bookworm Punch Art

Is this not just the cutest thing ever?! This was one of the cards on display at the Stampin’ Up! Regional Training Seminar that I attended in Milwaukee recently. I’m not one for doing a lot of complicated punch art – but this one is not even really complicated! Circle, Oval, and Word Window Punches turn into this stunning card! How fun!

With All My Heart Thank You

I really received some nice swaps! This card was  created by fellow demo Susan Dillion. She used the With All My Heart stamp set. The color combo is Whisper White, Old Olive, Lavender Lace, So Saffron, and Pale Plum.

Totally Tess

If you love all things stamping – then the Totally Tess stamp set is a must have! Not only does the set come with some fun stamping tool images…but it can so easily be paired with images from other sets for some really fun cards! This fun card was created by fellow demo Chrissy Myers. I was a lucky swap recipient!

Saturday Sketch (On Sunday!)

I created a Saturday Sketch for you…on Sunday! If you are experiencing spring fever like myself…it may be a  wee bit of a challenge to stay indoors! I love working out in my yard on perfect spring days! However, just in case you would rather stamp…or need a card for an upcoming event like a graduation or wedding, etc. Here is a sketch created in My Digital Studio to get your creative juices flowing this weekend! I hope it’s been great so far… and has a grand finish!

Trash To Treasure

This is a project that I did a couple of years ago. However, it is always timely to reuse and recycle so I thought I would post the idea again! This is a recycled cereal box. I cut the top off and trimmed down the sides on one side at an angle to mimic the magazine holders that you see at the stores. I covered it with designer series paper. This is an older paper…I am thinking that I may update with some newer, brighter Designer Series Paper called Island Oasis that will be coming out in the Summer Mini Catalog! Can’t wait!
