“Forget Calgon; take a Flower Petal Bath” I have discovered a deliciously relaxing bath soak recipe that I just love. Normally, I am not a bath person…but this bath soak gets me into the tub! It soothes sore muscles, muscle tension, and headache. Plus, it smells wonderful! I love the soak so much that I wanted to share it with some friends. Canning jar crafts are all the rage right now so I ordered some pretty quilted ones. When I saw the Bloomin’ Bouquet kit from Stampin’ Up! I knew immediately that I was going to use it to “dress” them up! Kit’s make things easier and since I was making 12 of these jars the kit was perfect. Please note that I also used background papers, ribbons, bakers twine, jewels, etc. that were not in the kit. I used the kit to make the flowers for the top of the jars, only. The flowers can be easily duplicated with some background papers, buttons, and a flower punch using the video to guide you for assembly. I used the kit because it was convenient! 10 drops of White Flower Oil
(It is an analgesic to soothe sore muscles, plus it smells wonderful!)
A Handful Epsom Salts
(Epsom is lymphatic cleansing, relaxing for sore muscles, softening to the skin, and detoxifying; Epsom salts help to get drugs, chemicals and pollutants out of body.)
1/2 cup of Baking Soda
(This is alkalinizing and detoxifying and can help calm allergic reactions.)
SOAK IN THE TUB FOR 20 MINUTES, 1-2 TIMES/ WEEKLY
