Valentine Ghirardelli Gift Holder

I love this cute little holder for Ghirardelli Chocolate! What a fun little gift to give your friends! This was very easy to do also! It is a 3″x 8″ piece of cardstock. I used the 3/16″ Corner Punch, the Word Window Punch, the Small Oval Punch, the Full Heart Punch, the Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die, Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon, and the new Sending Love Epoxy Brads. The flower is a leftover from the Baskets and Blooms die basket that I made.

Valentine Mini Milk Carton

This cute little project was very simple! I used the new Stampin’ Up! Mini Milk Carton die, the Sending Love Designer Series Paper, the new Small Heart Punch, and the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set. I used a mini library clip to close the box.

Valentine Lollipop Wrap

This project was a little more challenging! Mostly because yours truly thought that she had the Petal Card die! Much to my surprise…I didn’t! lol! Can you  imagine! It will be on my next order! So…I am not sure what size the die is…but I opted to try to make my own to fit this chocolate lollipop I had found that I thought was cute! I had bought several different suckers in my rush because I didn’t know what size I would need. If you have the petal die…this is so easy! Just fold up two of the flaps and you have a heart shape that you can slip your lollipop in! I do suggest you plan better than I did though! lol! I usually do…but I had something unexpected come up and I had to go out of town…so I did the best that I could on such short notice! I used the Sending Love Designer Series Paper, Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die, 5/8″ Real Red Satin Ribbon, and the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set.

Valentine Basket

This basket was fairly easy to make. I used the Sending Love Designer Series Paper and the Stampin’ Up! Baskets & Blooms die. Instead of making the basket round I scored 1/2″ on the unscored sides and used sticky strip to make it more of a flat basket. I cut and scored the tag piece to create the bottom and adhered it with sticky strip also. I used the new Stampin’ Up! Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslits die,  the Full Heart punch, and the Well Scripted stamp set for the sentiment on the box. A pretty in pink taffeta ribbon bow tops it off!

Valentine Heart Lei Project

This is a fun easy project that even your kids and grandkids can do! I think it would be prettier if the straw was covered in some pretty backgound paper…but I had only a couple of hours to do five projects and take photos of them to post for this week! So, I elected to just leave the straw as is…and you can too if covering the straw would be too difficult for your kids or you need to get done fast. I used the Full Heart Punch to punch hearts out of Real Red, Pink Passion, Rose Red, and Pretty in Pink (you could also use Pixie Pink but I didn’t have many scraps in that color and I used up scraps)! The straw is cut approximately into one inch pieces.I used the handheld punch to punch holes in the hearts and threaded them alternately, separated by straws on to a length of hemp twine…just making sure it would be long enough to fit over the head. If you don’t have any hemp twine you could use yarn…but I think the hemp twine will be easier because it is stiffer than yarn.

Have fun with this great Valentine Project!

I {Heart} Hearts Valentine’s Day

The idea for this fun card came from our Stampin’ Success demonstrator magazine. I loved the color combo of So Saffron, Cameo Coral, Bermuda Bay, and Certainly Celery. I modified the idea somewhat as the card idea was a non-traditional size…and I tend to stick with the standard card size. I love the simple clean look of this card. It was a nice addition to the I {Heart} Hearts card making class. I like having the more non-traditional color combos thrown in on the holiday classes.

I {Heart{ Hearts Love You Much

The I {Heart} Hearts stamp set is so much fun to play with! The new accessories in the Occasions mini really help too! We used these new items to create this pretty card; SU! Embosslits Die, SU! Perfect Polka Dots textured impressions folder, 5/8″ Satin Ribbon, Sending Love Specialty paper, Pinking Hearts border and corner punch, and the Well Scripted stamp set.

I {Heart} Hearts Pretty in Pink

This simple, but beautiful card is another creation we made in my I {Heart} Hearts card making class. The Sending Love Specialty Designer Series Paper really makes this card! We added Dazzling Diamonds glitter to the edges of the friend heart to make it pop out and pull out the shimmer in the background paper, We used the Full Heart punch to punch out the friend heart to give it the nice edge to be able to add the glitter. We then layered it on a heart cut out with the SU! Scalloped Heart of Hearts embosslits die. While this does cover up the pretty little raised polka dots…it gives the layered heart a nice, pretty scalloped edge.

I {Heart} Hearts Pastels

I like to pull out fun techniques once in awhile; and I {Heart} Hearts looked like one that would work well with the Reverse Poppin’ Pastels technique…one of my favorites! We created this card in my I {Heart} Hearts card making class. Everyone really thought this card was pretty! We also used the new Well Scripted stamp set. I love the font style used on this set! We also used the new Pinking Hearts Border punch.

I {Heart} Hearts Friend to Friend
